Plex Media Server 1.32.8.7639: Download the New Version for iPhone

Plex Media Server has just released a new version, bumping up the server version to 1.40.x to signal this change. This update brings several enhancements and bug fixes that will improve your overall Plex experience.

One of the significant changes in this update is the database compatibility. After this update, you won't be able to use your database on Plex Media Server versions lower than 1.31.2. To roll back a database to an older version than 1.31.2, you'll need to downgrade to 1.31.2 and then downgrade from that version afterwards.

* Thumbnails not properly updating when underlying file changed (#14688)

* View history not created when a partially played item was marked as played (PM-1021)

* Keep view history of items when marked as unplayed (#14663)

* A show's subtitle mode not overriding the account's if the account's was set to 'Manually selected' (PM-660)

* Marking a show or season as watched creating view history entries (PM-935)

* Replace Lower Quality not taking effect (#14646)

Additionally, Plex Pass users in the Beta update channel can now enjoy new features, including a preference for Cinema Trailers to always include English language trailers when account audio language is not set to English (PM-620).
